Au featured on Ears to the Ground Series
Au’s album “Verbs” was a much-loved addition to Portland’s musical landscape in 2008, full of delicate experimentation and whimsy. The ongoing series “Ears to the Ground” from DigforFire dives right into the essence of the music with their episode on Au.
“I’ve been a stutterer for my whole life I guess. I just started signing a few years ago it’s still a new instrument for me. It’s very liberating because you can’t stutter when you sing,” Luke Wyland, multi-instrumentalist/Au frontman.
